The Digital Communications Coordinator will play a vital role in executing our digital strategy across multiple platforms. This position will be responsible for creating and delivering content on various digital channels, including email, social media, and digital marketing platforms. The Digital Communications Coordinator works under the supervision of the Director of Digital Media.

What You’ll be Doing:
Responsibilities of the Digital Communications Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Implement strategic digital engagement and social media marketing programs across all digital channels.
- Manage our social media profiles, ensuring best practices across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with project teams to educate members on digital engagement best practices.
- Stay updated on social media trends and provide proactive ideas for the Director of Digital Communications.
- Develop and execute organic content for social media, ensuring geotags, captions, and hashtags are on point.
- Work collaboratively to establish a unique voice and identity for the Lawyers’ Committee on social media, aligning with strategic priorities and enhancing our brand identity.
- A demonstrated commitment to racial justice and equity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and measuring social media content for nonprofits.
- Experience in developing and supporting organizational social media campaigns.
- Creative thinking to engage new audiences.
- Proficiency in graphics, design, and video software.
- Expertise in using paid advertising, especially in Facebook Ads Manager and Google AdWords.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to convey complex ideas concisely for social media.
- Attention to detail with a track record of meeting deadlines without errors.
- Proficiency in HTML and experience with content management systems like WordPress.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships across departments and levels of management.
